Background
I started out life in Oakville, Ontario, Canada in March of 1989. Oakville became the place I called home for the next eighteen years of life. My parents moved to Banff, Alberta upon the completion of my high school education and I've spent my summers there ever since. For the past three years I've lived in Montreal, Quebec and attended McGill University.

Interests, Activities, & Plans
Over the past four summers I have worked in Banff, Alberta at The Banff Centre - an international leader in arts and culture. My jobs there have ranged from the marketing department to digital film and media where I was responsible for the creation of a series of promotional "webisodes" for the Banff Summer Arts Festival.
When I am not in school or working, I love playing sports and keeping active. I love camping and winter sports, which I guess makes me a true Canadian.
I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Due to the fact that I've been uprooted a couple of times, and split my time between Ontario, Quebec and Alberta - my friends come from all over the country and even the world.
Upon the completion of my degree at McGill, I would like to travel and continue to learn. I am really interested in the field of media and communications and may persue a career in broadcast journalism.
My main professional objective is to end up doing something that I love and that inspires me.

Other Interesting Things
I am very interested in the arts.  Not only do I spend my summers marketing and promoting the Banff Summer Arts Festival, but I attend most of the events as well. I think the only way to get a good taste for and real appreciation for the arts is to experience all kinds as often as you can. I also believe that one can only gain a sense of worldliness through travel and knowledge, so it's important to quench the thirst of your interests and curiosity by doing what you love and experiencing as much as you can.
